Return, Refund & Exchange Policy
Section 1: Return & Refund Policy:
All sales are final and as such, we strictly do not accept any refunds or returns on purchased items.
* Refunds for defective items are only applicable if the stain or mark exceeds 1 cm in size.
Section 2: Exchange Policy: For exchange of size only
Modano Trading (also known Modano Boutique) provides exchange for all items except Best Buy/SALE/Discounted/Pre-order & Free size items (All accessories and intimate apparel, including underwear, bras, shapewear, socks, and more, are non-returnable and non-exchangeable).
* Exchange can only be made one time per order number.
* Items can be exchanged within 3 business days of receiving purchase and return to us in original condition (tags attached, item unwashed, unworn, and unaltered). Exchange can only be made for the same design in different sizes.
* Exchange for other items only if the size required is out of stock.(Only allow same price item or higher price item as we cannot do refund)
* Exchanges for items which do not meet all mentioned conditions will be duly declined. All items are not to be soaked. If color runs due to this reason, item/s is strictly not exchangeable.
* The color of an item may vary slightly with what is displayed on our website due to the image lighting and different computer resolutions.
* Free size items and accessories are strictly not exchangeable.
* The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. Please keep the tracking code(tracking number) with you in case we need the tracking code(tracking number) for reference.
* We shall not be held liable for the damage on the goods due to your carelessness or mishandling of the goods.
* Items that have been kept for more than 14 days (include due to hold shipping) cannot be returned.
* Color of products may vary due to studio lighting used and please allow 20% of color variation in real products as compared to actual products. It may appear darker or lighter. Exchanges due to this reason will be duly declined.
* There might be 1cm-3cm differences in the measurements given due to the different stretchable quality of the material. Please do check the measurements given in our products and compare with your existing dresses for best fit.
* For printed items, the prints may vary in terms of symmetry/alignment/slight color patches for each piece and return due to this reason is not considered a defect.
*Kindly record your video when you unbox, inform us if you find any defect or missing item within 3 days, your request will not be entertained if fail to do so.
* Exchanges are only allowed for size changes. If the required size is unavailable, you may exchange for a different design.
* When purchasing, we charge only RM6.00 shipping as we subsidize part of the cost. For exchanges, this subsidy does not apply.
* For exchanges, you may purchase additional dresses to be shipped together with your exchange. Shipping fees for exchanges are RM15.00 FLAT RATE for West Malaysia, Sabah, and Labuan, and RM8.00 FLAT RATE for Sarawak.
For Exchanges Shipping Fee:
For exchanges, customers will need to bear the full delivery fee (Include shipping fee from customer to Modano Boutique and shipping fee from Modano Boutique to customer)
We are based in Kuching, Sarawak. When you make a purchase, we only charge RM6.00 for delivery because we help cover RM10+/- of the actual delivery cost. However, for exchanges, we are unable to subsidize the shipping.
📦 Shipping fees for return/exchange:
• Kuching to West Malaysia: RM15.00 FLAT RATE
• Within Sarawak, Kuching to Sabah and Kuching to Labuan: RM8.00 FLAT RATE
Please note that exchange items can be shipped together with new purchases, the shippng fee is as stated in "Shipping fees for return/exchange".
